Charles Baudelaire

"The first visionary, king of poets, a true god..." -writes Arthur Rimbaud in his letter to Georges Izambard about Baudelaire, and he's right.

This pic is my deep bow before him. An inteligent man, who has the right word for every emotion. Gave us the chance to draw inspiration from him, late after his death. He became immortal, he's an ideal to follow.

He was able to create beautiful poems from his inexplicable and sick mind.

Charles Baudelaire

"Az első látnok, a költők költője, valóságos Isten!" - írja róla Arthur Rimbaud, Georges Izambardnak szóló levelében, és nem véletlenül.

Ké;pem szegényes meghajlás az öreg előtt, aki a legocsmányabb dolgokból is irodalmi műalkotást csinált, és aki minden érzelmet név szerint ismert. Megadta nekünk a lehetőséget, hogy inspirációt merítsünk műveiből jóval halál után is. Halhatatlanná tette magát, ezért követendő példa minden kicsit is becsvágyó embernek.

Bonyolult és beteg agyában született gondolatait úgy mondta ki, hogy egy oszló dögből is irodalmi szé;pségében egy csokor nárcisszal veteksző műalkotás lett.

Amazing art, sir. Baudelaire was a complex, complicated and difficult man, but you capture so much of his irony, beauty and poetry in this surreal portrait. The memento moir and couple in the leaf are great touches, and I must ask, what are the flowers of evil at the bottom? Buttercups? Kudos!

A költők fejedelme. Az élet szépségeinek és borzalmainak beavatott élvezője. A gyönyörök borásza. Nem tudok elég felmagasztaló címet adni neki, az versei a legélvezetesebbek az egész világ költészetében.
